Mark Miller began working for the Archdiocese of Denver and Mt. Olivet Cemetery in 1979, while still a student at Regis College, where he earned his degree in Business Administration. After graduation, Mark began working in Real Estate development and investments while taking graduate level courses in Economics and Finance at St. Louis University. Mark returned to Denver in 1987 to again work with the Archdiocese and start his career as a police officer with the Denver Police Department, where he primarily specialized in gang crime and crime scene processing.
Mark received many commendations as a police officer, including the Departments Medal of Honor, Distinguished Service Cross and Lifesaving awards. In 2010 Mark, along with his associate, Karen Teiken, were honored by the Archdiocese with the Laborer in the Vineyard Award for their long service to the Catholic Church of Northern Colorado.
Mark recently retired from the Police Department after 30 years of service. Mark has been married 24 years to his beloved wife, Dianne, who is employed as an operating room nurse at St. Joseph Hospital. Mark has a lifetime of service to his community and places the families he serves as his top priority.
