Deeply regret to say Colin James Kostelecky passed away on October 7, 2019 at the age of 14 following a 4-year battle with brain cancer. Colin was born on December 15, 2004 to parents Larry and Mona Kostelecky. He was also the proud big brother to his sister Emma. Colin leaves behind his parents, sister, and grandparents (Maureen and Joe Marzano (Colorado)/ Doug and Lynn Loewenstein (Ft. Myers, Florida) and Larry and Cindy Kostelecky (Dickenson, North Dakota) along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Colin was very active with his school and church and his St. Anne’s family was his second family. Colin had just graduated from St. Anne’s and was a new freshman at Holy Family High School. He was a very sweet and caring child who loved school and his friends. One of his favorite past times was going to movies, he loved being a movie critique and would talk about movies with his friends. Colin was truly remarkable, he left this world a better place as everybody learned from him in some way. For those that knew him, Colin was Colin he was not a follower but more a leader even as he battled cancer. Such a good kid he never wanted to cheat anybody and always wanted to do the right thing. We know that Colin is going to be in heaven and can imagine him walking amongst angles which gives us all some relief. But we can not express how much he will be missed . Our lives will never be the same without him. We love you Colin with all my heart—Please remember Colin and continue to pray for him even in death.
