Don Binetti age 57
Received by heaven: 09/19/2019
Don Binetti was brought to this earth and born to his father Vito Binetti and his mother Apollonia (Paula) Binetti. He was born at St Joseph’s in Denver, Colorado. He was beloved by his elder sister Lora and was a wonderful big brother to his later born sisters Mary Ann and Gina.
Growing up he learned early on the importance of family and respect for others. At an early age he discovered a love for classic cars and would always opt for an opportunity to go for a swim with his beloved cousins! He also learned the value of hard work as he began helping out at his Uncle Mike’s grocery store at age 10. He attended Ranum High School and then graduated from Arapahoe High School, year 1980-
In his early 20’s he was often under the hood of one of his many project cars or he was in the kitchen of Binetti’s Pizzeria making sure everyone was fed and happy! He always loved the Denver Broncos and many times they would come into the family’s restaurant for a quick bite to eat.
At age 23 he met a lovely lady, Cynthia, who he would end up marrying and together they brought his two children that he so loved to this world. Dionna his daughter and Jonathan his son. He was the most loving father and dedicated his efforts to make sure they were always well taken care of and having fun! Whether it was driving in the car listening to his favorite music, bringing gifts to Christmas morning, or making pizzas together he never had a bigger smile on his face than when he was with his kids. Well… maybe he had an even bigger smile when he spent time with his Grand-Children, Liam and Kellan. He was always quick to show his love for them as he attended every event, birthday, and holiday he could. He was their Papa and although they are young, we are all certain they will have plenty of memories and photos to look back on. He was the best Father-in-Law a person could ask for and was cared for deeply by Ryan (Dionna’s husband) and Jessica (Jon’s wife).
Don was always a hard worker and whether it was his time spent as a Foreman for Tri-Star Drywall, Safety Director for American Furniture, being the most efficient limousine operator for Towne and Country, or being the fun-loving guy at his family restaurant, you could always count on him!
Many will remember him for the time they spent with him on group motorcycle cruises, late nights on the dance floor at the Proof, and just his overall larger than life personality.
He was charismatic, honest, and full of love. His heart was so big, so generous, and full of energy!
On 09/19/2019 at 10:00 pm that very loving heart was unfortunately called to heaven by the lord our savior. It was weakened by many years of complications and although he is gone too soon everyone that was impacted by this man will forever remember him and everything he stood for.
Rest in peace Don, our Father, our Papa, our Son, our Brother, our Uncle, our Family, our Dance Partner, our Riding buddy, our Co-Worker, our Light.
