Cemetery Spring Cleanup
Cemetery Spring Cleanup in April and May. Families are encouraged to remove any items that are not within the guidelines and that compromise the 8” restriction in front of monuments. The sod in Mt. Olivet Cemetery Section 61 is scheduled to be aerated between April 15th and April 26 (weather permitting).
Promoting Sacred Beauty
Catholic Funeral & Cemetery Services of Colorado has the responsibility of perpetually caring for the grounds of the cemeteries both for the families we have served previously and those families we will serve in the future. We have the responsibility of carrying out the sacred ministry of both performing the Corporal Work of Mercy of burying the dead and promoting a greater love of God. Beauty is a pathway that leads us to God. Hence, we make it a focus of our ministry to consistently promote beauty within the cemetery. We do this while at the same time attempting to provide a safe environment. We encourage safety concerns be brought to the cemetery’s attention.
To accomplish this...
- Flowers and plants, artificial or real, are permitted in front of the monument within the first 8 inches.
- Sections with flat monuments may only have flowers in approved vases.
- Niche and crypt doors with vases may have flowers. Flowers may not encroach onto a neighboring space.
- Items are not permitted on the floor of a mausoleum.
- Unsightly flowers and plants will be removed.
- Flags are permitted two weeks before and two weeks after Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Veteran’s Day.
- Blankets placed on graves and wreaths are permitted from Thanksgiving to New Year’s Day.
- Anything outside of what is listed above is not permitted and will be removed by the cemetery.
Cemetery Cleanup:
Cemetery cleanups occur regularly. All prohibited and unsightly items can be removed for disposal without notice.
Markers/Vases:
Only officially approved monuments, vases, and emblems may be placed on cemetery burial locations. Temporary markers are available through the cemetery to be placed at a grave site until a permanent monument is placed. Families seeking approval for placement of items from outside vendors must seek that approval from the cemetery director. Items lacking approval may be removed and disposed of without notice.
Pets:
Pets are allowed on the cemetery grounds but must remain on a leash. Pet owners must clean up after their pet.
Other Information:
Please lock your vehicles. Our cemetery is not responsible for theft or damage. The cemetery will accept no responsibility for the theft or vandalism of flowers, vases, temporary markers, urns, benches, or any other articles left at the grave, niche, crypt, or mausoleum. Furthermore, the cemetery is not responsible for any damage, including but not limited to, acts of nature or vandalism to monuments.
Our decoration policy is in accordance with the Roman Catholic Code of Canon Law.
- Canon 1205: Sacred places are those which are designated for divine worship or for the burial of the faithful by a dedication or a blessing which the liturgical books prescribe for this purpose.
- Canon 1210: Only those things which serve the exercise or promotion of worship, piety, or religion are permitted in a sacred place; anything not consonant with the holiness of the place is forbidden. In an individual case, however, the ordinary can permit other uses which are not contrary to the holiness of the place.
- Canon 1243: Particular law is to establish appropriate norms about the discipline to be observed in cemeteries, especially with regard to protecting and fostering their sacred character.

Catholic Funeral & Cemetery Services de Colorado es responsable del cuidado permanente de los cementerios, tanto para las familias a quienes les hemos brindado servicios en el pasado como a quienes les brindaremos en el futuro. Somos responsables de los ministerios sagrados de realizar la obra de misericordia corporal de enterrar a los muertos y promover el amor de Dios. La belleza es el camino que nos guía hacia Dios. Por lo tanto, nuestro ministerio se enfoca en promover continuamente la belleza dentro del cementerio, a la vez que intenta garantizar un ambiente seguro. Para lograr esto...
- Se permiten flores y plantas, ya sean artificiales o reales, frente a monumentos en un rango de hasta 8 pulgadas.
- En secciones con monumentos planos, se permiten flores únicamente en jarrones aprobados.
- Se permiten flores en las puertas de criptas y nichos que incluyan jarrones. Las flores no pueden invadir un espacio vecino.
- No se permiten objetos en el piso de los mausoleos.
- Se desecharán las flores y plantas antiestéticas.
- Se permiten banderas dentro de las dos semanas anteriores y posteriores al Día de los Caídos, al 4 de julio y al Día de los Veteranos.
- Se permite la colocación de mantas en tumbas y guirnaldas de flores desde el Día de Acción de Gracias hasta Año Nuevo.
- Todo aquello que no esté incluido en la lista anterior no está permitido y será retirado del cementerio.
Limpieza del cementerio:
Las limpiezas se realizan con frecuencia. Todos los objetos prohibidos y antiestéticos pueden desecharse sin aviso.
Indicadores/Jarrones:
En las ubicaciones de entierro del cementerio, solo se permiten monumentos, jarrones y emblemas con aprobación oficial. El cementerio cuenta con indicadores temporales disponibles, los cuales pueden colocarse en las tumbas hasta que se reemplacen por un monumento permanente. Las familias que requieran la aprobación para colocar objetos de proveedores externos deberán solicitarla al director del cementerio. Los objetos no aprobados podrán eliminarse y desecharse sin aviso.
Mascotas:
Se permiten mascotas en el cementerio, únicamente con correa. Los dueños de los animales deberán limpiar sus excrementos.
Otra información:
Cierre las puertas de su vehículo. Nuestro cementerio no se responsabilizará por robos o daños. El cementerio tampoco será responsable por robo o vandalismo en relación con flores, jarrones, indicadores temporales, urnas, bancos y cualquier otro artículo que se encuentre en tumbas, nichos, criptas o mausoleos. El cementerio no se responsabilizará por ningún daño, entre los que se incluyen casos fortuitos o actos de vandalismo a monumentos.
Nuestra política de decoración está de acuerdo con el Código Católico Romano de Derecho Canónico.
- Cânone 1205: Son lugares sagrados aquellos que se destinan al culto divino o a la sepultura de los fieles mediante la dedicación o bendición prescrita por los libros litúrgicos.
- Cânone 1210: En un lugar sagrado sólo puede admitirse aquello que favorece el ejercicio y el fomento del culto, de la piedad y de la religión, y se prohíbe lo que no esté en consonancia con la santidad del lugar. Sin embargo, el Ordinario puede permitir, en casos concretos, otros usos, siempre que no sean contrarios a la santidad del lugar.
- Cânone 1243: Deben establecerse por el derecho particular las normas oportunas sobre el funcionamiento de los cementerios, especialmente para proteger y resaltar su carácter sagrado.

Chúng tôi có trách nhiệm hoàn thành mục vụ thiêng liêng là vừa thực hiện sứ mệnh Thương Xác qua việc chôn cất người đã mất vừa truyền bá tình yêu thương cao cả hơn của Đức Chúa. Sự đẹp đẽ là con đường dẫn chúng ta đến với Đức Chúa. Do đó, chúng tôi coi mục vụ của mình là luôn quảng bá vẻ đẹp bên trong nghĩa trang. Để đạt được điều này...
- Hoa và cây cỏ, dù là giả hay thật, được phép đặt trước bia mộ trong khoảng cách 8 inch đầu tiên.
- Những phần mộ có bia phẳng chỉ được cắm hoa trong bình đã được cho phép.
- Có thể cắm hoa trong lọ trên hốc tường và cửa hầm mộ nếu có. Hoa không được lấn sang không gian lân cận.
- Không được phép đặt đồ vật trên sàn lăng mộ.
- Hoa và cây cỏ không đẹp mắt sẽ bị dẹp bỏ.
- Cho phép treo cờ trong hai tuần trước và hai tuần sau Ngày Tưởng Niệm Liệt Sĩ, ngày 4 tháng Bảy và Ngày Cựu Chiến Binh.
- Cho phép đặt vòng hoa trên mộ từ Lễ Tạ Ơn đến Ngày Đầu Năm Mới.
- Bất kỳ đồ vật nào ngoài những mục đã liệt kê ở trên đều bị nghĩa trang cấm và loại bỏ.
Dọn Dẹp Nghĩa Trang:
Việc dọn dẹp nghĩa trang diễn ra thường xuyên. Tất cả các đồ vật bị cấm và không đẹp mắt có thể bị bỏ đi mà không cần thông báo.
Biển Đánh Dấu/Bình Hoa:
Chỉ những bia mộ, bình hoa và biểu tượng đã được phê duyệt chính thức mới được đặt trên các vị trí chôn cất tại nghĩa trang. Biển đánh dấu tạm thời có sẵn tại do nghĩa trang cung cấp được cắm tại khu mộ cho đến khi đặt bia tưởng niệm vĩnh viễn. Các gia đình muốn được chấp thuận cho việc đặt các vật phẩm từ các nhà cung cấp bên ngoài phải xin phép giám đốc nghĩa trang. Các vật phẩm chưa được chấp thuận có thể bị loại bỏ và xử lý mà không cần thông báo.
Vật Nuôi:
Vật nuôi được phép vào khuôn viên nghĩa trang nhưng phải có xích. Chủ vật nuôi phải dọn dẹp nếu vật nuôi phóng uế.
Thông Tin Khác:
Anh chị em vui lòng khóa xe. Nghĩa trang của chúng tôi không chịu trách nhiệm về các hành vi trộm cắp hoặc thiệt hại. Nghĩa trang sẽ không chịu trách nhiệm về hành vi trộm cắp hoặc phá hoại hoa, bình hoa, biển đánh dấu tạm thời, hũ tro, băng ghế, hoặc bất kỳ vật phẩm nào khác được để lại tại mộ, hốc tường, hầm mộ hoặc lăng mộ. Hơn nữa, nghĩa trang không chịu trách nhiệm về bất kỳ thiệt hại nào, bao gồm nhưng không giới hạn, bia mộ bị phá hoại do yếu tố thiên nhiên hay cố ý.
